Leading electronics manufacturers took the wraps off several of their new devices at the IFA 2022 event in Berlin, Germany. In this regard, Finland-based popular brand Nokia is not far behind. Nokia's licensee OffGlobal unveiled the Nokia PureBook laptop series at IFA 2022. The lineup includes three models – Nokia PureBook Fold, Nokia PureBook Lite and Nokia PureBook Pro. Both 'Fold' and 'Lite' models with 14-inch display are powered by Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor. However, the larger 15.6 'Pro' model uses the Intel Core i3 1220P processor. The company did not reveal the pricing details of these new laptops at the event. However, almost all its specifications have been revealed.

The Nokia PureBook Fold and PureBook Lite have 14-inch IPS LCD displays, while the PureBook Pro comes with a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display. All three laptops offer a 60Hz refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels and 250 nits peak brightness. Besides, the Purebook Fold also has a touch display. The Fold and Lite models are powered by an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, while the Pro model has a higher-end Intel Core i3 1220p chip. The lower-end chipset is expected to be more affordable than the Intel Core i3. 8 GB RAM will be available in these models. In terms of memory, the Fold and Lite models will get 128GB of SSD storage, while the PureBook Pro will get 512GB of SSD storage.
For optics, the Nokia PureBook Pro has a 2-megapixel camera and aluminum top frame. And smaller models come with a 1 megapixel camera and plastic frame. The Nokia PureBook lineup supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and WiFi 5. For connectivity, the devices include two USB-C 3.2 ports, one USB-A 3.2 port and a 3.2mm headphone jack. For security, these new Nokia laptops also include a fingerprint scanner.
Additionally, the 15.6-inch Nokia PureBook model features backlit keyboard functionality. For power backup, the PureBook Pro uses a 57Wh battery with 65W fast charging. On the other hand, the Lite and Fold models come with a 44-watt power adapter and a 38-watt-hour battery. The company claims that the 14-inch models will offer up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Nokia PureBook series runs on the Windows 11 operating system. Also for audio, the PureBook Pro will offer a quad-speaker system and the PureBook Fold and PureBook Lite will offer dual speakers. PureBook Lite and PureBook Fold weigh 1.47 kg and 2.5 kg respectively. But the Pro model weighs only 2 kilograms.
Note that the company has confirmed that the new laptops will hit the French market this month, but the full details of their availability are not yet clear. Even OffGlobal has not revealed the pricing details of the Nokia PureBook series.
